Tv on the Radio at Edgefield was a great show. We hung out by the fire afterwards until late and played some pool at one of the many bars and restaurants on the premises. You must stay here when you visit and enjoy all the spa amenties and saltwater soaking pool.

We are building a Ropes course up on Prescott park near Ashland Oregon, A beautiful mountain with hiking and biking trails and now a challenge course.

The Oregon Zoo has a summer concert series. I went Friday night to see Afro-Cubanism with Robbie and Kelly. Providing great dance music they had the whole crowd, animals included shaking there tails by the end of the set. It was a really nice venue surrounded by animals, you got to walk through the zoo to get to the amphitheater.

Fun Filled INDEPENDENCE Weekend

We went to the Worlds's Longest beach on Sunday to camp for the night and enjoy fireworks and driving on the beach.
Technically a highway Longbeach Washington is 50+ miles and allows you to drive and camp on the beach. Once dark, you could see fireworks as far as the eye could see up and down the beach.
After some short hikes the next day we head back to Portland for the last day of bluesfest and the 4th of july celebrations

going to Bluesfest for Kiley's BirthDay!

Bluesfest is a donation based 4 day music festival on the waterfront in Portland. We hung out all afternoon backstage of the main stage in the VIP enjoying the weather and the perks of being very special people. we eventually went to mingle with the common folk to watch saturdays headliner Lucinda Williams perform in front of a huge crowd and a setting sun. After Lucinda we went to another stage with some up beat dance music where we dance our socks off. The festival wrapped up for the night and we headed downtown for more dancing.

Going Strawberry picking

I went with Michael my landlord and his two kids to Sauvie Island to pick strawberies on friday. We picked 11 lbs between us.
