Yesterday, Chandler and I drove all the way from New Orleans, LA to Fort Hood Texas so he could work for a couple of weeks with his company, Challenge Design Innovations. It was the longest leg of our trip so far, but it went quickly because we broke it up with a stop for dinner in Houston to visit with some of Chandler's relatives. We met with his cousin Meredith, her husband Andrew, their daughter Rowan and newborn son Boone.
Rowan is absolutely adorable and meeting her was the highlight of my day :) I think the highlight of the afternoon for Chandler was driving Andrew's new Lotus! We plan to go back to Houston after C finishes up his work here and get some more quality time in with his family.
I am going to try my hardest to find fun things to do around here so I can occupy myself and so I can make interesting, fun posts but there isn't much going on in Killeen, TX. Luckily, we are only a hour from Austin so I plan on making a few day trips down there maybe tomorrow and also next week!
