Chandler and I absolutely adored Savannah. Chandler's favorite part is the green squares they have every block down Bull Street and the old Live Oak trees. My favorite part is the artsy touch SCAD puts into the city. It is so old and we both agreed that it is our favorite historic city we have been to and we can't wait to go back some day.
We simply began the day parking at the Visitor's Center and from there walking downtown. We ventured into Gallery Espresso a had a warm mug of Chai Latte. We ate lunch at Goose Feather's where I had one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever eaten :)It was a Roasted Red Pepper sandwich on Parmesan flatbread with sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes, pesto, and goat cheese. Delicious!! http://www.goosefeatherscafe.com/
River Street was nice. We ate the most amazing pralines at River Street Sweets and bought a couple truffles and fudge to go.
While downtown, the button came off of my only pair of jeans so we went to the Clothing Warehouse (a great thrift shop) so that I could purchase a belt. We met a cute girl named Kelly there, who sent us to The Gryphon Tea Room where she also worked part-time. At the tea room we split a pot of vanilla tea and booked a night at the Hostel in the Forest, a tree house hostel we would stay at for the night.
My favorite place in Savannah was ShopSCAD. An Anthropologie like store that sold the works of the SCAD students. It was very inspirational and made me want to get creative :)))

All-in-all it wasn't a sunny day in Savannah but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
