Day 24: Family Time in Houston

I am so happy that we were able to get a better visit with Chandler's cousin Meredith and her family. We arrived Tuesday afternoon, just in time to pick Rowan up from pre-school :) Rowan was a little shy at first and probably confused by our unannounced arrival, but soon warmed up and was singing for us before we knew it!

We spent the afternoon visiting the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center where we later picked up Meredith's share at the local Rawfully Organic food co-op. The arboretum was nice. Rowan loved the turtles and the minnows we saw in the water. The fruits and veggies we picked up were- in my opinion just as exciting and beautiful :)

That evening, before Andrew got home from work, we all pitched in to make delicious asparagus risotto for dinner. Even Rowan was able to squeeze some lime juice in the entree!
