Day 29: Guadalupe River State Park

Guadalupe River State Park might be one of my favorite state parks. Unfortunately, we didn't take many photos, especially of the most picturesque parts, but it was beautiful Texan hill country right along the Guadalupe River.
We woke up and Chandler took me on my first official "mountain biking" experience. Aunt Sue was kind enough to give me her Schwinn mountain bike (she thought she hadn't spoiled me enough :))) ) so Chandler was anxious to get me on it. We biked through the rough terrain all the way to the bank of the river and step up camp for the day on the beach. It was so nice. I did get burnt to a crisp though :(
The river was peaceful; you could hear the fish jumping up to snack on flies. There were a few fly-fisherman in the water and many kayakers and canoers floating by.
