The stars were amazing in Big Bend!!! A lot like they were in Puerto Rico, with no light pollution around to erase the millions of stars in the sky. We slept well, even with the noise of the Boy Scout Troops camping around us :)
We woke up Sunday morning and decided to hike the 13 mile trail to the South Rim. It took about 5 1/2 hours, but the view is unlike anything I've ever seen! We saw Mexico in the distance and cooked lunch on the huge cliff over looking the mountains all
around.
